Many Achtung Campervanners are bike riders! Camping in your van and hitting the rails or roads on two wheels goes hand in hand. Recently, Achtung Camper formed a partnership with Bicycle Network to help keep our Achtung cyclists safe, well-informed on where to ride and meet up with out bike enthusiasts.
Bicycle Network is Australia’s biggest riding organisation, with over 50,000 members nationwide. It is a not-for-profit that runs events for cyclists, work with government for safe bike-riding conditions, protects and support our riders amd much more.
Here is what a Bicycle Network membership covers:
Crash Reporter:
If you have been in a crash or even a near miss, you can report the details about your incident easily with Crash Reporter. When, where, and how the injury occurred, as well as any other relevant information.
Bike Insurance:
Our members are covered for theft inside and outside their homes. Bike accident damage, bike racks, transit, and personal gear are all covered, so you can ride in peace.
Rider Rescue:
Whenever you need help the Bicycle Network’s rider rescue program will be there for you. Bicycle Network will send a vehicle to pick you and your bike up and take you where you need to go. Just call 1800 110 201.
Bike Parking:
As Australia’s biggest bike-riding organisation, Bicycle Network understands what riders need. They offer a wide range of bike storage products that work seamlessly for all kinds of spaces.
