Paul Turner17 April 2023I can’t speak more highly of the crew and owners of Achtung Campers, their after sales service and support is second to none. Our VW crafter camper van is simply a pleasure to use and much thought has gone into its power usage and functionality. We recently had an issue with the Wabasto cook top where the Bluetooth speaker fell from its stand on rough road and damaged the glass top. Achtung didn’t hesitate to organise a replacement for us which we were super happy about. We have driven across from Adelaide on a few occasions to get alterations done with them in Geelong and they are always friendly and very helpful and get the adjustments done well within time frames. Well done to a fantastic team!

Anne Chapman15 July 2021I cannot recommend this company and product highly enough. We have been travelling for 12 weeks now in our SWB 2017 Achtung T6 which we bought in January and just love it . The detail and design is perfect for us. What do I love? I love how I, a 67yr old female, can drop down the top independently. I love the back seat and the mini side table under the mirror for my coffee as I enjoy the view. I love how this tiny table doubles as a bed-side table . I love how it catches all the breezes especially the long ventilation strip near the top of the roof-it really helps. I love how we have everything we need in a vehicle which is our car. I love how we can park it anywhere; any car space in underground shopping centres- no problem. I love how we can turn the passenger chair around for instant lounge space and also have passengers in the back. I love how we can use it as a ute- the stuff we have transported include barrels of grapes and wine, boxes when moving house. I love the marine ply and the quality of the cabinetry. It's first class workmanship, very well finished, durable, and looks super smart. With light coloured timber cupboards and light coloured felt -like fabric on the walls, the camper seems bigger than our friends LWB T6. I love how the bottom of the curtains are contained behind the interior panel so we don't have curtains flapping about. It's tidy. I love how they are block-out curtains and we have great privacy when changing for a swim. I love how it isn't carpeted so we just sweep everything out down the step -so easy to keep clean. I love the cupboard under the seat which we stuff with shoes and shopping bags. I love the other little 'fiddle' shelves. Great for sunscreen and torches - those things than need to be handy. Nothing falls out of them. The after sales service is great. Achtung really do go out of their way to solve any little problem or issue that might arise, in our case a fuse type problem. ... and we didn't even buy ours from Achtung as we got it second hand. Thank you Achtung!

I did a lot of research before settling for Achtung Camper and I can tell you that they are way ahead of their competitors. Just go for it and make that once in a lifetime crazy decision. You won't regret it!

“We are a couple in our 60s enjoying our new campervan from Achtung, long wheelbase Volkswagon transporter. We have done a couple of short trips, with our dog, and planning a longer one soon. The attention to detail and the products in the fit-out are excellent. The van drives easily. All the extras we ordered work well. Compact but easy to store what we need. The people at Achtung were friendly, and helpful, and kept us up to date with progress. The only problem was the delays getting the van out of the docks and into the workshop (due to COVID-19 and lockdowns etc). It was good to be able to choose elements of the interior to make it ours. Looking forward to many road trips!”

“Achtung fit-out campervans with a wide range of options. These options become your personal selection.
You have within your power, the ability, to select many variations; layout, colours, fabrics, trims, accessories….and the accessory options are wide and varied. In most cases, we were extremely happy with the options. The ONLY feature we requested that was not available was a heat exchange-style hot water system. Having said this, there was a boiler system within the standard options. We have now driven the van on several trips and everything works exactly as expected. The detail of the work is very good.”
