Coming into the colder parts of the year we thought we would give you a few winter camping ideas on our favourite places, some that just makes the trees sing. Here are our top 3 places to head over this winter season:

  1. located in Errinundra National Park, 7 hours away from Melbourne making it easy to escape the city. With 40,000 hectares of beautiful eucalyptus forest surrounding the campsite, no doubt you will instantly relax into camp-mode bliss.

  2. Blue pool Campground, Briagolong state forest, surrounded by trails and natural sanctuaries. Additionally this campsite is only a 3-hour drive from Melbourne. This campsite is a winner with families including your 4-legged friends. It has access for swimming if you can brave the colder days coming and has great campervan access.

  3. Stevenson falls Campground, a 2-and-a-half-hour drive from Melbourne. Located in the thick of the Otway national park, this campsite is a must-see spot for winter. The campsite is located close to the lovely Stevenson waterfall, Which is an easy 1-hour walk.
